Well as you all know that are reading the blog, Henry was home. We had a wonderful trip, the morning he left, I started to feel ill. Let's just say he pulled out of the driveway at 6:15, the boys and I went back to bed. At 9 I could feel it coming on, but as "SUPER MOM" I had things to do. The boys and my mom were on our way to see Disney on Ice- Toy Story 3. Halfway through the show, I could feel the sweat, the chills, and could barley swallow. Mom had bought the kids snow cones. The ice was soothing. After the show, mom took the boys and I went to bed- she returned them home around 7 I was worse. My boys do not like to spend the night out, so they put on their PJ's and climbed in bed. Mom came over the next morning, and I was off to the local Doc in the Box- after getting all the vitals and the throat culture, it was confirmed I had strep. The next words from the doctor was, you need to be admitted to the hospital.... Did I mention Henry left less than 24 hours ago?? Well you know I am stubborn so the next thing I said was no, so load me up on some medicine so I can take care of the two boys. Mom was a huge help that weekend. Henry's folks helped out too, thankfully taking the kids to and from school for a couple of days. I went back to the doctor on Wednesday, only to be told- two ear infections and stay home from work the rest of the week. Just what I needed to do in the middle of "Budget Season".
Finally able to get caught up at the office, kids and their school and activities, I am Back on my Feet!
